construction

Fiber optic filaments hand threaded into a lightweight netting shine through an outer layer of shibori hand-dyed silk organza.  A tiny controller and the high-intensity LEDs that light up the fiber optics are all hidden within the collar facing.  Starlight is powered by a single battery with multi-hour running time.

light and movement

A cascading wall of light shimmers on four separately programmed electronic channels.
